A Private Tour is a very convenient way of visiting the Western Front, either to follow a normal itinerary but with the privacy and comfort of having your own personnal guide and vehicle, or to enable you to visit or spend more time in areas of specific interest to you.
We are delighted to offer a Private Tour of the battlefields covering the sites where the American Expeditionary Forces fought in France in 1918. This tour was specially designed to follow in the footsteps of the American troops on the Western Front: Chateau-Thierry, the 1918 battles and the heroes of Belleau Wood, the second battle of the Marne, the Meuse-Argonne offensive and the attack of the salient of Saint-Mihiel. The tour can also include any other site of the First World War such as the « clairière de l’armistice » at Compiègne (where the armistice was signed on 11/11/1918) and the overwhelming battlefields of Verdun.
