‘Terres de memoire’ is a French company, run by a keen enthusiast of Great War history.
Registered in the historic town of Péronne, we offer tours of the battlefields with a qualified and fully certified French guide (who of course speaks fluent English).
Discover and explore these historic sites – the main sites and also lesser known ones – with a professional tour-operator.
Tours are available for individuals or for groups of up to eight people.
Our tours generally start from:
- Amiens (the most convenient coming from Paris - 1 hour by train)
- or Péronne
Other pick up points can be arranged.
We can also help and advise in finding accommodation in the area.

The quality of our service
Discover the major sites of the Great War, but also places which are less well known – some of which are assessable exclusively through Terresdemémoire – we always visit these sites accompanied by related documents, aerial photographs and period maps…
Transport
Our tours generally start from Amiens, Péronne (Somme) or Arras, Lille (Flanders and Artois). Other pick up points can be arranged. You will be driven in a top of the range, air conditioned minibus (more info).
